DESCRIPTION:The New Orleans Ultra Marathon is the first urban ultramarathon
  in one of America’s most amazing cities. You start at Jackson Square be
 fore the sun comes up and traverse some of the most iconic and historical 
 neighborhoods winding your way through our great city.\n\nPhil will be “
 running” this race for the second time\, completing the 50 mile course O
 ctober of 2021 in his first ever ultra marathon. This is where the inspira
 tion for Running for Dreams came from. “Somewhere on the lonely streets 
 of Gentilly because I was dead last\, I was just trying to get to the fini
 sh line. I had just seen my family and friends for the last time before th
 e finish line which was at least another hour and half away. As I left the
 m at the last aid station I couldn’t help but feel loved\, supported and
  blessed. I think I cried for about 6 blocks. Then it just came to me\, I
 ’m going to start a foundation to help kids who have lost a parent to ca
 ncer."
