It’s been my dream to go from Stage IV to 140.6 and complete a full Ironman distance. Of course I want my entire family at the finish line when they announce “Phil de Gruy, You are an Ironman!” My oldest son Corey, his wife Laurel and my 3 grandchildren live in the Coeur d’Alene area. When this race went back to a full distance for 2023 I registered!
